What is Unclaimed Funds?
You may have heard of these before, however a handful of people actually know about this. And I had learned about it since 2015. Unclaimed funds is when business or people owe you money, and they don’t have a method of reaching you. They tried to contact you, they’ve emailed you or sent you a letter, maybe they have the wrong information. They owed you a refund or some amount of money, but they can’t get a hold of you. What happened is that money is surrendered over to the State Comptroller’s Office. And then you can go through your state portal for unclaimed funds. go back
